I am a student at the University of Cincinnati; I currently am majoring in media production, minoring in marketing, and am a University Honors Scholar.
I am currently studying media production at the University of Cincinnati with a focus on video/film editing. I am passionate about photography, cinematography, and video editing. I hope to go on to study special/visual effects and become a special and visual effects artist. I am passionate about the film industry and honing my craft.

Why UHP?
The University Honors program brings together unique and diverse individuals who are passionate about learning and making the world a better place. I want to use my talents and passions for the common good and become a part of a community that loves to learn and make a difference. I am passionate about becoming the best version of myself I can be; as well as gaining knowledge from those who hold different and similar beliefs, values, and experiences. In pushing myself to become a well-rounded individual, I value and am determined to put forth maximum effort to excel in and outside the classroom.
The University honors program provides great opportunities to not only explore who you are as an individual but also provide opportunities to meet motivated diverse individuals from all of the university’s disciplines. A major goal of mine before graduation is to intern at several companies relevant to my field: media production, specifically video editing and visual effects. Another goal of mine, since traveling in high school, has been to study abroad and to become more of a globally-minded citizen. I also hope to be accepted into graduate school to further my education and hone specific aspects of my area of interest upon graduation. In addition, I want to try new things and take a unique variety of classes that are relevant to my major but also to further my understanding of different topics and the world around me. The honors program will help me achieve these goals because the program offers a wide variety of classes and experiences set to expand students’ horizons
